Third Largest Indonesian on Twitter

Indonesia is one of the largest in the world of Twitter users. Naturally, if the use of Indonesian in the site very much. But, how much?

An analysis conducted by several researchers in the U.S. by utilizing software Language Compact Detector (CLD) are embedded Google Chrome browser on any them. CLD is Open Source and has been extracted by Mike McCandless so that it can be used by many people.

Eric Fischer is the software that implements it on Twitter and, through further processing, produces a map that interesting to watch.

On the map, can be seen a rough distribution of Twitter users in Indonesia. The most obvious visible Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi, though not quite seem intact. While Papua Twitter users seem to have the least because it was barely visible.

From the results of this analysis, the following are the top 10 most widely used language in Twitter:

    3. Indonesia
    4. Spain
    5. Malaysia
    6. Japan
    7. Netherlands
    8. Korea
    9. Philippines
   10. Russia
